A fat quarter is a quarter yard but it is cut to give a piece of fabric about 18" by 22" which is a dimension that is easy to use for quilters... it also takes up less space in a stash if one has a compulsion to buy fabrics just 'cause they are pretty. lol
Here's a neat pattern that would use up a single fat quarter: http://wewilsons.blogspot.com/2009/01/fat-quarter-purse-tutorial.html
Since all those fabrics coordinate so perfectly though I'd be more inclined to use them together, as in a quilt. Might be nice to piece a little girl, like the ones in the print, as the centre of the quilt. That's just what I'd consider doing, anyway.
A kimono top would be nice too.

Oh pretty fabric!!! If you don't have any ideas, send it my way and I'll make some totes out of it ;)

Ha, Jake! I would frame it...I think it's the prettiest fabric *ever* . But Kylie is demanding something out of it, so I guess I'd better get sewing.
ReplyDeleteStef...I think it is fat quarters. I dunno lol.
It's very pretty! I do that with scrapbooking paper. I just look at it and drool, then wonder how on earth I can use it??!?!
