Making cupcakes...
Then she stuffed them in jars, piped as much icing as humanly possible in and around the cupcakes...added 3/4 of a jar of butterfly sprinkles...
Finished project! Cupcakes in a jar for Kiki and her friend, for dessert on a sweltering 30C+ night.
Sammy Sunshine doing some colouring, perched atop the dining room table...
...and a boy who really needs a haircut but just can't stand the idea. He could probably use a clean shirt, too. Lookit those dandelions in the background...I don't know why, but it seems like there are just tons of them this year. But I don't mind them, they're pretty when they're still yellow :) .

Your kids are adorable, as always! Kylie's crafty just like you--and the boy's hair and t-shirt look good to me. Us moms are the most critical of our own, LOL
Love the look of the blog. Did you spend sometime inside out of the sun today??
Thanks ladies :) . You know what, it took about 10 minutes to change everything while Sam was napping, and that's just because I couldn't figure out how to rotate the stupid banner. Should have only taken about 5 minutes lol.
The banner's too big, though, and I can't figure out how to shrink it. Ah well, a job for another day.
I will have a chocolate cupcake please, and Jake looks very handsome with his hair like that and comfortable in that T shirt. Sammy Sunshine has all the makings of a true artist...a little excentric, doing it on the table...but artists have a different mind set than us mortals.
Thanks for the photos.

umm... did Sam colour all of those two Hello Kitty pages herself?? I don't think my older kids can colour that well. hmmm, wondering if my genes are colouring deficient. I'm very used to the long hair-dirty tee look though, so I don't mind it on kids-that-arn't-mine. The cupcake thingies are really cute. :)
LOL Steph...no, I'll admit: I like to colour at times, too . But I generally sit in a chair to do so :D .
